Individual Volunteering
There are many ways to volunteer at the Pilsen Food Pantry! Help us organize food in the Food Pantry, make contact-free deliveries for homebound clients, help us prep the pantry for the week, or sort clothes/other donations in the Mercadito Gratis.
Get Involved
To sign up for a shift, select the volunteer activity, then select a date and time that works for you. If you want to schedule multiple shifts, click “select and make recurring”.

Volunteer Waiver Form
The Figueroa Wu Family Foundation, (FWFF) is committed to providing a safe atmosphere for the volunteers who seek to help us meet the needs of the community. We ask that all volunteers read and sign the following Release and Waiver of Liability when volunteering with any of the programs within the foundation, including – but not limited to – the Pilsen Food Pantry and the Mercadito Gratis.
This Volunteer Waiver Form need only to be completed once every 5 years. Please click here to access the form. We request that each volunteer (with the exception of their legal guardian or designee) download, complete, and email their completed Volunteer Waiver Form to volunteerwaivers@pilsenfoodpantry.com
If you have any difficulty accessing/completing the waiver form, please inform a staff member upon your arrival at the pantry, and they will help you complete it.
Food Pantry Volunteer Shifts
Assist with opening procedures, distribute healthy foods to people in need, and sort donations. Volunteers must be able to walk a lot and lift up to 25 pounds.
